Engineer (Communications): The Engineer -Communications will act as a resource and when appropriate lead engineers and technicians in projects and/or daily support of communication systems and associated equipment system-wide. The Engineer – Communications will represent the Communications Department regarding network and/or telecommunications design, review, installation and maintenance of communication systems.-

Deputy Director, Applications Development: The Deputy Director of Application Development will be responsible for directing staff consisting of both employees and contractors in all phases of designing, developing, implementing and supporting MBTA applications.  Deputy Director will ensure the soundness of architecture, operational excellence and quality, while delivering results on time and working with other software teams in order to accurately determine what software changes need to be implemented in order for the features to launch successfully. –

Construction Inspector: The Construction Inspector will review contractors’ work to ensure compliance with MBTA project contracts, plans and specifications. – Business Analyst: The Business Analyst is the Information Technology Directorate (“ITD”) representative with regard to coordination of information technology systems within business units/departments on a daily basis. The Business Analyst will work closely with all key stakeholders and users throughout the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, with business units, and with the vendors to map current business processes and help define and plan the future requirements. –

Change Order Analyst: The Change Order Analyst will assist MBTA Contract Administration with providing technical advice and support to field personnel in the area of construction change order proposal analysis, negotiation and time and material pay estimates.  –

Maintenance Instructor – Bus: The Maintenance Instructor will provide both classroom and facility-based training for all levels of machinists, repairpersons, forepersons and fuelers on preventive and corrective maintenance techniques and procedures for all surface and heavy equipment vehicles. –

Manager of Hazardous Materials: The Manager of Hazardous Materials will be responsible for  the coordination, inspection, identification, tracking, and management  of Hazardous Materials located on or in existing MBTA facilities and associated infrastructure, as well as the coordination and tracking of the notification, storage, removal and or management of Hazardous materials from MBTA facilities and infrastructure.  The Manager of Hazardous Materials will work with all MBTA departments to ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State Regulations. –

SWA Deputy Director: The Deputy Director of System-wide Accessibility will report directly to the Assistant General Manager for System-wide Accessibility and assist in the development, implementation, interdepartmental coordination and management of the Authority’s efforts to expand and ensure accessibility system-wide. –
