Being a Hispanic Leader in the 21st Century – April 17th:
The GE Hispanic Employee Resource Group joined forces with SHPE Boston to bring a leadership/networking event for SHPE members, guests and GE employees. This event was focused on being a Hispanic Leader in the 21st century. We would like to thank GE for sponsoring this event and in particular GE executive Jorge Perez, our guest speaker (and new SHPE Member) for sharing his experience in executive management with us.
42 The Jackie Robinson Story- April 28th:
SHPE Boston was thrilled to partner with the Greater Lawrence Technical High School to offer high school students activities that are both educational and entertaining. Students and professionals got to know each other with fun ice breaker games, followed by the showing of the movie 42, The Jackie Robinson Story and ending with lunch and team discussions about the meaning and teachings of the Jackie Robinson legacy.
